AELクラスの生徒たちは、校外学習の一環として、ネイティブの先生と校長先生の引率のもと、六本木にある森美術館を訪れました。以下はネイティブの先生からの訪問の様子です。

On August 28th, 2023, the students in AEL class visited the Mori Museum in Roppongi. At the museum, students were able to explore the 20th anniversary exhibit “World Classroom: Contemporary Art through School Subjects.” The tour guide, Mr. Yahagi helped students think about what is art, what does contemporary art mean, why/how do museums conserve and preserve artworks, and who can create art? The entire tour was in English. Sometimes students are afraid of confronting new, unfamiliar topics, but the engaging and entertaining atmosphere of the Mori Museum helped students explore their understanding of English and Art. We hope to do more AEL field trips in the future to continue learning English in many different ways!
